Medium weight 100% cotton calico is the ideal base fabric for larger textile projects, wall hangings, embroideries etc. 

The tight weave provides strength and stability for detailed stitching. Untreated and totally natural, Calico is perfect for use with fabric dyes. Calico is also resistant to fraying.
