Nordic Summer 100% Cotton Craft Fabric by Makower available by the quarter of a metre (Fat Quarter)- size is around 50cm x 55cm per piece of fabric.
Each Fabric 'Fat Quarter' is £4.00.
If you would like half a metre of fabric - £8.00 (order two).
For a full Metre of fabric - sold at £16 (order four).
For two Metres of fabric - order 8 etc.
If more than one FQ ordered this will be cut, packaged and posted out as a single piece of fabric.
In essence a Fat Quarter is a piece made by cutting half a metre of the full fabric width and then cutting this piece in half vertically (essentially cutting it by the width). Fat Quarters are usually cut from quilting fabrics as they provide a smaller piece (essentially quarter of a metre) but in a way that you still get a sizeable piece of the design.
With most quilting fabric widths being 44″ / 110cms wide a Fat Quarter is therefore usually around the 50cm x 55cm mark.
